We had a lovely tour of the Garden District and Lafayette Cemetery #1. Really loved that the tour group was small (only 5 people). We saw much larger groups walking around. Our tour guide David was full of wonderful information.

The Garden District sure is lovely, and even lovelier when you have a super-smart guide who can tell you the great stories of this fascinating neighborhood. Small groups allow for more questions, and questions result in better tours! Thanks for touring with us and thank you for taking the time to review.

Libby, our tour guide, is a local of many generations, and an excellent resource person. It was a pleasant, well researched and entertaining tour. A beautiful, quiet area to visit to escape the chaos of the French Quarter.

One can't describe how different the Garden District is from the French Quarter. While they are both the "real New Orleans," the French Quarter is vibrant, colorful, urban, and edgy, and the Garden District is serene, elegant, lush, and grand. And they are both amazing and full of so many stories just waiting to be told! I am so glad you enjoyed your tour and I really appreciate your taking the time to review.

Just got back from a trip to NOLA. This was the first thing we did upon arrival. The only thing more charming than the Garden District itself was our guide, Libby. She and her family have lived in New Orleans for many generations and she is well versed in the history and folklore of the area. This was an informative and educational tour and the added walk through one of the city's above-ground cemeteries was fascinating. You really must do this tour.

"Must do!" Thank you! I love the Garden District and telling its stories. In fact, I never stop learning the stories myself, so my interest in this lush antebellum neighborhood never wanes. I am energized when my guests are interested in my city, and each tour is different because we keep the group small, encourage questions, and keep learning! And Lafayette Cemetery #1 is a very special place. I just finished writing a new tour just of the cemetery and I hope to add it to our schedule soon. Thank you again for your review and recommending Lucky Bean to other travelers.
