It was a beautiful sunny day, we loved being on the river, learning about the factories and shopping yards along the way. We had previously done this tour and were excited to be back with our kids but didn’t feel like the tour was as good this time. The narrator was very monotonous and difficult for the kids to follow. The Ajax band wasn’t really a jazz band and played all their music in the dinning room. The last time we went on the boat it was a full jazz band up on the top deck. It was far more enjoyable to listen the the music and be out by the river at the same time. Our kids wanted to be outside of course so we only heard 2 songs.

Usually the band on the day cruise is the Steamboat Stompers, and they play on the top deck unless their is a weather issue. Since Covid, we have been able to maintain a 3-4 piece group but not a 5 piece which you might have enjoyed a in 2019 or before. It is the same group but members may alternate. Our apologies that things have changed but we are very grateful that you brought your children to the Steamboat NATCHEZ.

Enjoyed the vessel, but the food was not enjoyable. Enjoyed the sites and views of the city. Photos were good but a little expensive

This was such a fun little excursion! It was incredibly chilly so I would suggest a jacket. We enjoyed ourselves and learned so much history! Definitely do this if you haven't. It's a great break from walking on your feet!
