This was a great way to learn a bit of Newport history and try some foods I normally might not order at places I would have skipped without a recommendation. The timing of the stops and sequencing of foods was great. Water and bathrooms were available at each stop. Morgan was very upbeat, clearly enjoys her city and what she does and it is no surprise she has a theater background! She even treated us to a song (at our request). This was my first time in Newport, RI and my first food tour. Can't wait to do another one! 👍👍

I rated this tour a 2 but would rate the food as a 5. The food was amazing! However, our tour guide Morgan was a different story. In the beginning she seemed friendly and was extremely energetic. By the third stop she had basically latched on to a group within our tour group that had younger guys and girls. My husband and I sat at a table and she sat at our table and looked over at the table with the younger guys and said can I join you you guys you are way more fun. The others at the table looked at us like they couldn’t believe what she had just said and quite honestly we were a bit floored. She hardly spoke to others and talked a bit much about her personal life. Sorry we were into talking more about the tour and food and city history and not being fun. We will try a different tour company next time for sure.

Thank you for bringing this to my attention although I wish you could have contacted me directly and I certainly would have tried to make this right by you. I'm sorry you had this isolated incident happen to you, it certainly is not indicative of who we are as a company nor has this ever been an issue in the past as evidenced in the hundreds of reviews here. Knowing the guide the way I do, I can only say that it was probably thoughtlessly said in jest, but nonetheless not acceptable. We want all our guests to be comfortable and feel appreciated at all times and I will ensure this does not happen again. My sincerest apologies, I hope you will reconsider giving us another try in the future.

Loved Amanda's energy and every restaurant we encountered. We will come back to do it again and hope it's just as awesome.
