Hello, on August 30th I booked the Niagra Falls in One Day From NYC tour. There were 2 options: $179 WITHOUT Maid the Mist Boat Tour, and $199 WITH Maid of the Mist Boat Tour. I Paid $199. On the day of the tour the guide told me that I COULD NOT board Maid of the Mist unless I gave him $35 in cash. I had to call Viator DURING the bus ride, to get help with this issue. The bus guide saw my reservation with clearly showed in the Inclusion/ Exclusion section on my Viator Confirmation that the Maid of Mist Boat Tour WAS INCLUDED. The Viator operatir COULD NOT get anyone to resolve my situation. Not only this occurred, but I called Viator 2 days prior and left a message about the meeting point address of the bus tour no one ever got back to me. The meeting point address is WRONG. It says 2 Times Square at 714 7th Avenue in front of Lids store. That is the WRONG adress, and thus I had to go downtown myself days prior to the trip to find out where it actually was located. 714 7th Avenue is the Address OF A HOTEL, NOT THE LIDS STORE. The Viator tour guide told me that I did pay the price for the tour that which included Maid of the Mist but he was powerless to affect the outcome because Viator was in charge of confirming my purchase inclusions. This was both upsetting and Embarrasing. I did give the bustour guide $35 in cash for The Maid of the Mist boat, when the Niagra Falls Park only charges $25. Because of all of these upsetting circumstances my Niagra Falls experience was significantly disrupted, and otherwise negatively impacted. I will not be booking with Viator ever again. I learned a lesson. No One at Viator took responsibility for THEIR MISTAKE of ISSUING ME THE WRONG TICKET, EVEN THOUGH THE VIATOR OPERATOR AGREED THAT I PAID THE SAME PRICE AS THE TICKET WITH THE MAID OF THE MIST BOAT TOUR. I'm including my details here in case Viator grows a conscience and decides to refund me the $35 IN CASH that was taken from me on the bus, WITHOUT ANY RECIPT WHEN I REQUESTED ONE. In my experience Viator was unprofessional, and unresponsiveto me as a customer. Not only that, there were THREE OTHER CUSTOMERS who were informed of this ERROR in VIATOR'S PART. It was a Huge disruption during the bus ride. Myself and 3 OTHER PASSENGERS were very upset. The tour guide refused to accept any other payment method BESIDES CASH, WHICH WAS $10 OVER THE ACTUAL COST OF THE MAID OF THE MIST TOUR. VIATOR GETS A THUMBS DOWN FROM ME. NEVER BOOKING FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN.
