See this bucket list experience from Luna Island, located between Goat Island and Niagara Falls State Park, Terrapin Point at the tip of Goat Island next to the Canadian Falls, and Prospect Point Observation Tower, all with a local tour guide to provide context on the history and fun facts about the new 8th Wonder of the World. Choose a 60-minute tour that includes the American and Bridal Falls, or a 90-minute tour that includes Horseshoe Falls as well. The Maid of the Mist boat ride is not available after the 8:30 pm walking tour. The boat operates during daytime hours only. Guests who wish to enjoy the boat ride should plan for the next day, or earlier in the day before the night tour.

I bought the tickets for the Niagara Falls Night Illumination Tour: American, Bridal and Horseshoe Falls walking and boat on Viator. When I arrive to the Made of Mist they said the tickets online don’t work and end up having to pay again. I have the receipt. Then for the tour we had to many problems. The lady that was suppose to do the tour arrived late 15 min late, and then pass attendance of the 17 participants and give everyone a glow light almost 10 minutes more. I understand it can happened to any one and she will gave us the time but she don’t do it. She was rushing the tour. The walked was so fast that only two of the participants were able to walk close to her at front and all of the rest of the people are just mad and upset we can’t even keep up. I notified I have an injury on my knee and can’t walk too fast and she didn’t waited. Didn’t explain or provided information. She just sprint walk. There were also more people asking questions and wanted to take pics (she said since the beginning that she will be able to make some stops and took pictures of us if we wanted) included me and my kids and she didn’t wait. Two of the participants in the group were lost. She was rushing everything the tour was not even 40 min. And she wanted to leave me behind wish make me upset. My kids were upset. This was not a tour. Didn’t get to see or hear anything about the Niagara Falls and then she left because she said she needs to go. We waited for the fire works which she said it would happen at 10pm; by 10:30 we decided to leave, no fireworks. I paid for everything in here and was not able to experience anything, it was so frustrating. The only good thing that we exp was the Made of the Mist that we had to paid separately. I’m requesting a refund and I am providing receipts by request. Also, I notified the issue with the Made of Mist and the lady of the tour told me by the end of the “tour” she was going to request a refund with the agency but at the tour she didn’t do it or provide me with anything.

First of all, don't book this because it's on the American side. To see all three falls illuminated, you have to be on the Canadian side. Secondly, this was not a "tour." This was a person who knew very little about Niagara Falls, walking us to a place that did not showcase the illuminated falls. She did not have a speaker with her, so unless you were right next to her, you couldn't hear anything she was saying (which wasn't much). She was on her phone texting half the time, and when we asked questions, she either didn't know or had to Google it. She verbally got excited when two people who ordered the 90-minute tour didn't show because it meant she could cut out early. This is a fine feeling to have as a human, but not one you should share with your paying customers. All we did was walk from Hard Rock Cafe to the American Falls overlook and then walk back. It's not a tour, and I can't stress that enough. Save your money for either something on the Canadian side or for a different tour/attraction/restaurant on the American side.
