My husband (experienced diver) wanted me (novice snorkeler) to enjoy fun of nighttime ray encounter, so we booked the 8:30 pm sailing. It's a very short trip - 5 min. from shore to manta viewing site with this outfit.
The female captain & her two female assistants were nice but it wasn't until I got seasick (while watching mantas in water, yes, it's possible) did I appreciate the team. They did not shame me or get impatient. They gently assisted me back to boat where captain kept me company while others finished their manta viewing. (Hint: on a good night, there are so many mantas you can see them from the boat too!). I should have taken Dramamine before departing - so if you're all all subject to mild seasickness - pop a couple beforehand. If you've never done an adventure before or are getting older & wonder if you're "past it" for adventures, this outfit will take care of you even if you have a hiccup or two on the way. My husband had new respect for how I handled things after I got sick - but it was the behind-the-scenes support (practical stuff like towing me short distance back to boat) of the team that left me with my pride intact!
