This is a short and amazing snorkel trip that is well-organized and executed, and something you won't find anywhere else. The boat only goes out a few mins from the shore to where the mantas are, then you jump in the water (or climb down their ladder), and hold on to their floating boards that have lights underneath as you simply float (with pool noodles under you) and watch these majestic creatures come and feed on the plankton directly underneath you. We had just got in the water and after less than a minute the mantas started coming. And they kept circling, doing these gentle rolls with their mouths open right underneath us, to feed on the plankton. They come so close, it's truly incredible. The plethora of needle fish also feeding under the board are cute too. I want to give Sea Quest extra credit for making everyone feel comfortable. They help you on and off the boat without rushing you, and they have team members in the water with you at all times, and they are holding on to the same boards as you for the whole time. They will help you from the boat to the board, and help you get back on the boat earlier if you wish. They also give a lovely commentary about the manta rays, can identify which ones you see by name, and can answer any questions or help you with whatever you need. I thought we would be getting in the water in the pitch black, but that is not the case - it's almost dark but not quite when we got in the water, and there were enough lights around that is not scary jumping in. Some tips: 1. Take the wet suit they offer - it gets a bit cold towards the end of the 45 mins you are floating out there because you're not moving at all, even though the water temperature is quite pleasant, 2. If you are prone to sea sickness, take dramamine or ginger or something - while you are floating you, are bobbing up and down constantly in the water.

Had so much fun. Was nervous about booking this since it was so unique. But please step out of your comfort zone and do this. So with it. But the point of my review is to talk about how they make it right. Our time share messed up our reservation of 8 and only booked it for 6. Liam and his staff went out of there way to make sure we all were giving a spot and were all together. We showed up with 4 adults and kids aged 9, 11, 14 and 16. Two adults contemplated staying back to make sure the kids could go, but Liam would have none of that. He accommodated all of us and it was an absolute life time memory. Clearly they have a product that is awesome, but what sets them apart is their customer service and their commitment to make things right if there are any issues. Thank you Liam. Thank you Sea Quest

A++ experience with the manta rays. Everything ran perfectly on time. Once we arrived, we put on wetsuits and were broken into smaller groups and assigned to a boat (there were about 7 people per boat). It was a short ride out to the manta spot— probably no more than 5 minutes. Once we arrived, the staff dropped in the light boards, gave us floatie noodles, and told us to hop in. Within minutes, nearly half a dozen manta rays appeared, coming within inches of us as they fed on the plankton. The staff taught us about the manta rays as we snorkeled for about 45 minutes. Absolutely surreal and incredible experience. Highly recommend!
