Beer is the backbone of San Diego and North Park is a beer mecca. The goal of the Beerucation Tour is to dive deep into San Diego’s beer world trying a multitude of different styles, from a multitude of different breweries. We order all of these crazy beers at bars etc. but do we really know what we are drinking, what food we can pair it with, and what makes it so delicious. While sipping on some of these there will be some great knowledge to be found in an area that is filled with art and culture.

-Walk into 3-4 local craft breweries and get a chance to taste and learn about a variety of different beer styles, the brewing process, food and beer pairing and what it takes to start a successful brewery

-Learn how to pair beer with food while munching on some delicious snacks

-Learn about a neighborhood that went from an area filled with street cars to a land of hipsters and famous restaurants

-This is NOT only for beer nerds. (Other options will be available)

Hands down the best beer tour I've ever been on! The selection of breweries was top-notch, but what truly made the experience unforgettable was our guide. Their knowledge, energy, and passion for craft beer were unmatched—they made every stop engaging and fun. From behind-the-scenes insights to perfect beer recommendations, they went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing time. Only 3 stops and beer only at the first stop. Too much beer at first stop. All of us were very hungry by second stop. Tour guide talked too much and more about him! Very self-centered person, plus he was late for start of the tour.

Thank you for your feedback. We sincerely apologize that the guide was a couple of minutes late. However, unforeseen circumstances can occasionally arise, and the guide did inform you well over an hour in advance of the adjusted arrival time. Regarding the tour itself, this was a beer tour, and the full itinerary was clearly explained before the tour began. The number of tastings were the same at the first two stops, and since this is a beer-focused experience, an ample number of tastings is part of the tour’s design. Lastly, our guides are there to educate, engage, and create a personal connection with guests by sharing relevant insights, including personal experiences that enhance the discussion of flavors, food pairings, and beer culture. We’re sorry to hear the experience did not meet your expectations, but it seems this may not have been the right tour for what you were looking for. Be prepared to have some education and fun. Excellent food pairings (who would have thought that certain foods bring out the flavor of the beer??!!) Stefan was high energy, knowledgeable and passionate! Great tour!
