When reading about this online, the reviews stated how good so and so was with their knowledge of NYC. After purchasing the tickets and climbing on board, it was then we got earbuds to listen to an automated person telling us only a few of the known sites for NYC and only after we had passed it. We finally made it down to the Statue of Liberty ferry tour. The lady stated as soon as we got off head up to 199 chambers and the last bus would be around to pick us up by 8. NO BUS came. We had to Uber back to Times Square! While there we tried to pick up the night tour... no bus in sight at all that night. It said where it would pick is up. We waited and waited with other people and yet no bus to be seen at all. The next day using it, we were already afraid to get off in fear of not being able to get picked back up. When we got on the driver said there was no stop at 18, 19, or 20. They did not say this on a microphone or anything so the people upstairs did not even hear this. When we long passed Central Park some lady came down inquiring about the stop and he started yelling and arguing with her for about 5 minutes. Very uncomfortable and VERY unprofessional (I would have lost my job talking to someone like that) and there was no working air conditioning on the bottom. Not sure what they would have done if someone passed out in that heat. The drivers were rude and I’m sure had no idea how to handle any such crisis. So to sum it up, I will never use this bus line here again or tecommend it to anyone I know!!!

Don’t even think about using these people. They’ll take your money and within a minimum set of standards will even deliver a service. Firstly, we were never able to get on the first bus arriving, always needing to wait 2-3 buses, and on one occasion a bus with seats had not even arrived within an hour, so I called a Lyft instead. The downtown tour, advertised at 1 hr 45 mins took 3 hours - the seat audio station did not work, so I didn’t get to hear very much of the narration, which I’m told was dead boring anyway. The so called Liberty Cruise ship called Manhattan II is a rusty affair that’s seen better days. And the seats on the two inside decks are the fold up plastic type that you buy from Ikea for $14. But I think the worst part of this is the waiting time. For the cruise we were supposed to arrive at 2:30 for the 3pm cruise. We were a few minutes late and joined the queue, which was already long and grew even longer. The vessel didn’t even arrive until 3:30 and we were not aboard until 4pm. I think that means nearly an hour and a half standing in line with little children. There were certainly a few hundred people going on the cruise, and you would think that the company would make sure plenty of buses on standby for when it finishes at the nearest stop, which is a 15 minute walk away. No bus at all showed up until at least an hour after the boat docked. There were perhaps 150 of us waiting for one. Then the the first three buses had no seats. And we were advised to wait for at least another 20 minutes. Forget it. I didn’t pay all this money to wait in line all day. Bottom line is this company accepts more customers than they have infrastructure for. It’s poorly maintained to boot, so I would call this gouging of the highest order.

The buses are too big for the streets of New York and you spend a lot of time sitting in traffic. We were able to get some good views but over all, it wasted a lot of time.
