It was very easy to get our 3 electric bikes and have some fun at the Central Park. The guy (John) who explained how the bikes worked is an excellent employee and provided us all the tips that we needed.
However, when we went back to return the bikes, there was a young guy inspecting the bikes and he asked us about the missing locker's key for the other bikes. When we got the bikes, there was just 1 key given to us, that I assumed it was for the 3 bikes. I was fortunate that I had read about this ridiculous small scam charging $10 extra for it. I was firmed with him and said "NO!" there wasn't any extra keys. That's when John came to save our day and told him that bike was the one with a "missing key". They just made up this solution because they knew I would call the cops and show them the other reviews saying the same scam. I just went with this company because my son had already made a reservation, but I was aware about the other customers.
Anyway, my husband just gave them a $10 tip just because of John! What is $10 when we were spending almost $100 on each bike, anyway? Be Honest Guys!!!!!

Lucie glad to hear that our customer service was quick, informative and you enjoyed riding our eBikes. In regards to your claim about $10 scam in no way or form we ever intend to scam anyone, customer satisfaction is always our priority, and we care about our reputation, otherwise we wouldn’t have 95% satisfaction rate . The lock you referring to was the one that customers lost the key prior to your use and we didn’t have a chance to cut it off, because it was the last key for that lock, therefore it was still attached on the bike. The team member who noticed that key was missing just came for the shift and was not aware of that lock situation. That’s why John who is the lead mechanic informed him that previous customers lost the key for that lock and it needs to be cut off. We apologize for the confusion and hope to see you next time :)
