Beautiful state of the art observatory, fast elevator, and friendly people. Efficient service too. It was definitely not necessary to get a skip the line ticket. The trip to the top is expensive but on par with other buildings. The proximity to the 9/11 memorial is also a draw.

We had booked the 8:10 slot. The entry was good as there was almost no queue. However the restaurant and the gift shop was closed by the time we got up. The kids were hungry and we had to cut our visit short. Why would you allow people to get in if they can use the restaurant and gift shop. On top of that the photo did not work. The crew was not cooperative as they were more keen on closing for the day.
