Recently my girlfriend and I visited NewYork. We thought it would be fun to take a special tour of the Grand Central Terminal, and we were right. The information they show and tell is not new, you can find all of this online and in books if you wish. But to be there and see it with your own eyes as you hear it being told by an enthousiastic guide, brings the tour to another level. I never knew so much of the things we are used to now with traveling actually might have originated from the building of GCT. You dont visit area's that are off limit to the public, dont think this tour will get you literally behind the scenes because they wont. You will go to places you wont visit during your commute or during your visit as a tourist, since not all the entrances and places are known to the public. If you want to know more about this building, the time it was made and how it shapes the way we travel today. This is definitely a tour for you. They will even tell you a secret you wont find online or in books.
