Semi Surfing Lessons are 2 hours with a maximum of 2 students with 1 dedicated surf instructor. Great for friends or couples. All surf lessons include top quality surf tech surfboards, Lycra rash guards and instruction on land and in the water. Lessons are geared to instruct the student in the fundamentals of surfing.

My wife and I were first time surfers and our instructor Alexa managed to get us both to stand up on the board within two hours of a semi-private lesson. My wife made it on the first wave and I also managed to surf a wave at the end of the lesson. For me it would have been better to do some warm-up exercises on the beach and maybe also have a few more minutes of instructions on land. Nevertheless, my wife proved that this wasn’t really necessary... at least for her. Be aware that the harder part of learning to surf is not to stand up on the board, but to paddle out to where the waves break. Apply good sunscreen before and prepare for some muscle ache :-)

My boyfriend and I booked with this company and Carol the owner was so fast in getting back to me and was very helpful. When we took the lesson her and her colleague were so helpful and I got us up on almost every wave, they were so knowledgeable and really taught us the technique. They were so fun and created such a fun atmosphere, the beach we were on had the best waves we found while we were there. I would highly recommend them to everyone and can't wait to go back and surf with them again one day!!!

Such a pleasure to be back to the North Shore and be a guest at North Shore Surf Girls house! Actually it’s my 3d time here! I love Carol and her team! Best surf instructors on the North Shore, Oahu! They create happy atmosphere for you and they love what they do :) Everything is well organized. The beach is clean and beautiful! Mellow waves and warm water - no wetsuit needed! Perfect surfing conditions for all levels! I will definitely come back to the NSSG camp! I highly recommend NSSG to everyone 🌞 They are the best!
