À quoi s'attendre

Oak Alley Plantation

Once arriving at the tour site travelers we spend approximately two hours at the plantation. Witch will include a 30 minute guided tour of the mansion. Travelers will also will spend time on a self guided tour of the grounds viewing slave cabins, overseers quarters, and an on site Blacksmith shop. If you use tour time wisely you may have time for a quick lunch at the restaurant or a quick snack from the gift shop

Une fois arrivés sur le site de la visite, les voyageurs passent environ deux heures à la plantation. Witch comprendra une visite guidée de 30 minutes du manoir. Les voyageurs passeront également du temps à faire une visite autoguidée des lieux pour voir les cabanes d'esclaves, les quartiers des surveillants et un atelier de forgeron sur place. Si vous utilisez judicieusement le temps de la visite, vous aurez peut-être le temps de déjeuner rapidement au restaurant ou de prendre une collation rapide à la boutique de souvenirs.

Came to New Orleans for our company Convention. I got here a few days early, I took the Oak Alley Plantation Tour, our guide/driver Brian did a great job, gave us some great history, facts etc.. I recommend Crescent City Tours.

A history lesson on the way and at the plantation, Brian our tour guide has a wealth of knowledge and a fantastic sense of humour. His knowledge of the region and history is great. I would recommend anyone thats visiting the region to go on a tour with Brian!! Thanks again mate and don't forget, No Wukkas Mate.

It's pretty but a short visit. Only 4 rooms to see in the house. The gardens are small. The slave barracks could be presented more vividly. A little expensive after all. The money probably goes mainly to the driver, very nice, it's still an hour's drive from New Orleans.
