Wonderful trip with Captain Tanner. He provided us with stories and wildlife/ecological information. Weather may have been damp and bleak but the entire crew were rays of sunshine. Helpful and friendly, always checking to make sure everyone was doing well. We saw Humpback whales, Dall Porpoise, Bald Eagles, Harbor Seals. Stellar Sea Lions, Muir, and Mountain Goats. I will never say “sea gull” again. Love learning new things. Great trip. Great crew.

We booked this trip as a schedule filler in between leaving our ship and waiting for the train. The crew members were polite and informative. The captain had many interesting details about the town and we loved hearing about the wildlife and learned a lot about the Orcas. We saw several pods and one came pretty close in front of the boat. We even saw one breach. I will say this is a very large group of over 100 people and a very large boat. This made it slightly harder to get pictures and get close to the whales. Our captain was very respectful of the wildlife. I just personally prefer smaller groups whenever possible.

Had a fantastic time going on the 4 hour boat ride. We saw a mom and calf humpback and got in 3 pods of at least 20 orcas. The crew was top notch. A family member got to feeling sea sick about 2 hours in - they could not have been better to help him overcome. Overall a very memorable trip. The seas were rough that day, but the viewing was top notch.
