This tour departs from Orcas Island. The island can only be reached by the Washington State Ferry System. If your party is not already on island we recommend our Anacortes departure location.
Check in begins 30 minutes prior to departure.

So fun! Great crew, with a great mix of movement on the water, education, entertainment, and sights of killer whales, beautiful scenery, and other wildlife. Highly recommended.

Our large group, ages from 7 to 88 years, had a fantastic time aboard the Blackfish IV with Brooke, Alex, and Drew. We saw seals, sea lions, many birds along with minky whales and a pod of Killer Whales. All of the crew were completely invested in providing us with a great experience and incredible learning. They consistently checked in with each guest asking what questions we had and teaching us about the islands and the amazing wildlife. It is always a pleasure to have guides who are passionate about their work and these people definitely are. I would absolutely do this excursion again if/when I return to Orcas Island.

Captain and first mate were knowledgeable, friendly, and fun. The boat ride was enjoyable, and we got to see a whale and a little extra.
