This tour departs from Orcas Island. The island can only be reached by the Washington State Ferry System. If your party is not already on island we recommend our Anacortes departure location.
Check in begins 30 minutes prior to departure.

We saw TONS of whales (Orcas, Humpbacks), several different groups of each kind. The best part, though, was the crew and the setup. We had big waterproof jackets, they had water & snacks if needed, and everyone was above and beyond nice. We ended up standing near the back so we could see better, and there was plenty of room for people to either walk around or sit in the benches.

Overall very pleasant. Nice crew and boats. Didn’t care for the boat transfer at Orcas; we boarded at Bellingham and weren’t told about it.

My kids and I went out with Orcas Island Expeditions last summer during our yearly trip to Moran State Park. The outfit was very professional and knowledgeable. Additionally, they were very respectful of the whales when we found them. My kids had a blast riding the majority of the trip on the bow of the boat and when things got rough, the captain wisely pulled them in for their safety. Thanks for making a lasting memory for our family!!
