This tour departs from Orcas Island. The island can only be reached by the Washington State Ferry System. If your party is not already on island we recommend our Anacortes departure location.
Check in begins 30 minutes prior to departure.

Although the whales were a ways off it was still thrilling for our first time with this experience to see whales in the wild. The boat followed for some time, giving us ample time for viewing. Then we scouted around another island and came across another couple humpbacks, which were closer to shore.

We had two amazing trips - one was on the boat to see Orcas, and then the other was a kayaking trip where we saw seals and so many birds. AMAZING. The best memories of our trip were from these two excursions.

We totally enjoyed our tour of northern Puget Sound and the San Juan islands! Our captain and his crew were very knowledgeable and kept us aware of the sea birds and mammals and where to watch for them. In a year where whale sightings have been few, our captain was able to find an immature humpback feeding peacefully - our entire boat was involved in spotting the next spout and surfacing for quite some time!
