They held their grand opening in that cool, old, brick building in March 2010, and since then Peace Tree has been following their passion to brew great beer and expanding to include multiple taprooms. Their name, Peace Tree Brewing Company, honors an historic grand sycamore that was located around Red Rock, IA. It was under this tree that Native Americans and fur traders would meet and treaties would be made; and with a nod to that legend, Peace Tree Brewing Company hopes that their beer brings friends and strangers alike together.
