We went out on Captain Kirk's boat (the party cruise, **there are family cruises too that I'm sure are just as great!) during Labor Day weekend and had an AWESOME time. It's a new business just a month or so old, so that's why there are a lack of reviews at the moment. We were a group of 4 in our mid twenties just looking for neat things to do in Port A that weren't already booked for Labor Day weekend. Not sure how we stumbled upon this but I'm glad we did. I called Kirk a couple of times before our book date to clear up details and he was very responsive and friendly. Captain Dylan took us out on a two hour trip for the cruise. Meeting instructions were simple, and from there it was just two hours of a real good time. Dylan's a great guide, has a sense of humor, knows the island, and let us control our music when we asked. Oh - and we saw dolphins pretty much the entire time.
The vibe is gonna be what you and the other guests make of it. If your boat wants to sit and sip on some beers and enjoy the view then go for it. If your boat wants to have a party in the middle of the bay then go for it. Ours was a bit more option A until our music friend put on Tusa and that cued up option B for the rest of the trip. Whatever you do, always be sure to be respectful of the captain and other guests!
Know before you go: the boat probably holds about 20 under normal operation. It's covered, has cup holders and benches. There's a bathroom on the boat. Speakers are on the boat. Our captain had Spotify hooked up to speakers. BYOB. Bring a cooler. You will see plenty of dolphins. Captains work for tips, bring cash.
We had an absolute blast and would definitely book this again.
