We had the absolute best time on this tour. Our guide was Matt. He was super friendly, incredibly knowledgeable and very accommodating. He went above and beyond to make sure we all had a great time on the tour and had the opportunity to see as much as possible. We got to the Pearl Harbour Visitors Centre at around 9:10am, our tickets for the memorial launch were for 9:15 but Waikiki traffic held us up. Matt was very quick to go in and get it sorted and we were on the 9:30am boat across to the memorial. He gave us the heads up on all the restrictions out there to make sure we didn't get held up. It was truly amazing. Loved every moment of it. Cannot recommend this highly enough. Ask him about runny duckies too!! Thanks Matt, you're a champion.

Our tour guide (CiCi?) was so personable and went out of her way to make our experience meaningful to each of us and also shared her deep passion for her native land. She provided so much information about the attack on Pearl Harbor not only from a historical perspective but also shared stories of the native people, immigrants from other lands, all coming together to help in any way after the attack. She also took us down to the government center of Hawaii in its beginnings telling many stories of the kings and queen and the importance the Hawaiian people place on their commitment to the land and all people. We couldn’t have been happier to spend the day with her.

Thank you so much for your time sharing your experience with us. Mahalo and ALOHA from DanielsHawaii.com. See you again!

Our guide was Evan and he was great, he was informative and engaging with all on the tour, however the tour company is I believe deceiving, I did book our tour the night before but on the website it said that the tour with USS Arizona tickets was available. The next morning I received a call that since I had called late the night before the Arizona tickets were not available and I was asked if I wanted to cancel the tour with a 70% refund. I went ahead and did the tour anyways which I could have driven to the location and did what the tour did for free. Pearl Harbor visitors center is free, we pretty much paid 170$ for a ride to the Center. While we were on the way to the center, we picked up other customers a total of about 7 or 8 more and they were also told that there were no tickets for the Arizona memorial, I don't know when they purchased their tours, but I would advise against this company unless they are guaranteeing you what is advertised.

Aloha and Mahalo for your review. Happy to clear things up for you and everybody who is reading this. 1. Yes, you booked last minute We are happy you decided to come on tour with us. Booking at 10pm at night, the day before the tour, is very last minute. Our customer service does not work at night, so we weren’t able to text / call you before 630am the next day. 2. Tickets included No it doesn’t say that tickets are included. It says “tickets can not be guaranteed” - multiple times on the website, on TripAdvisor and on Viator! We are very honest with the description of the tour, the stops and what’s included and what is not. Unfortunately a lot of people hesitate to read and just book. 3. Honolulu City Tour We are disappointed you forgot to mention our city tour through Honolulu. Your guide showed you I’olani Palace, King Kamehameha Statue, Queen Liliuokalani Statue, the Hawaii Capitol, Aloha Tower, the eternal flame and many more spots on the tour. That being said, obviously you didn’t pay just for a ride to Pearl Harbor National Park. Evan is a great guide, just like you said. He explained Pearl Harbor National Park to you, educated you about Hawaiian and American History and shared ALOHA. It is sad you don’t acknowledge this in your review. 4. Option 1 or Option 2 Our customer service gave you the option to get a refund or stay on the tour. The ladies explained exactly what’s included in the tour when you received our wake-up call on the morning of the tour. Therefore it’s surprising you were surprised. DanielsHawaii is one of a few companies giving you the option for a refund if we don’t have boat ride tickets to the USS Arizona. We offer this, because we want to make our guests happy, no matter what. Thanks for your review and enjoy your vacation in Hawaii.
