THIS IS THE OPPOSITE OF A PACKAGED TOUR. It's a private, customized journey through our most unique and iconic scenery. Along the way, I'll show you how to get great photos you can share and frame.

This is for people who want to see what really makes San Francisco the most spectacular city in the world — its natural surroundings!

We can hike, bike, trail run, or even just drive to awesome places if you're not feeling energetic. Along the way, I'll show you how to take killer pictures using just the phone in your pocket.

I'll create our itinerary based on your interests, how active you want to get, and what the weather's doing that day.

In the winter, we can see waterfalls in misty redwood forests. In the spring, green hills full of wildflowers. In the summer, fog rolling in off the ocean. And in the fall, incandescent sunsets over crashing waves. It's awesome all year round!

If you have a wheelchair or stroller, we can put it in the back of my SUV and we can focus on accessible areas. Service animals are welcome, but might limit our access to certain areas.
If you have any health concerns such as those listed here, we can ease back on the physical activities to whatever you feel is safe and appropriate for you.

Nik is the ultimate guide if you want to experience Marin County like never before! Whether you’re hiking or biking, he knows the area inside out. On our trip, he tailored the route to our preferences, offering a challenging but rewarding experience. His deep knowledge of the region’s history and nature added so much to the adventure, and he always made sure we were prepared for what lay ahead. Along the way, we stopped at breathtaking viewpoints to soak it all in and snap some incredible photos—Nik even helped us capture some great group shots :) After a long day of exploring, it felt amazing to relax with beers and burgers. If you’re looking for a unique way to immerse yourself in the outdoors near San Francisco, Nik is the guide you need!

I thought I knew most of the trails around Marin, but our local guide (Nik) took us on a long and epic gravel ride that I never knew existed. I got to see a side of Marin that I’d never explored before. He gave us some options and we chose the toughest one. Not gonna lie – it was challenging, but all the more satisfying for it. (As were the beers and burgers afterward.) This guy really knows the area and how to set up your day based on your skill level.

I got the feeling Nik knows every tree and blade of grass in Marin County by name. Our hiking trip was full of interesting historic and natural facts, and he explained everything beforehand so we knew just what to expect on each section of the trail. Another cool thing was stopping at all the good viewpoints to take pictures. He helped me get some great shots, and also took pics of our group as we hiked. This was a very satisfying and rewarding way to get deep into nature outside of SF after sitting in meetings all week. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
