Paid $90 for 3 Adults and to say we were disappointed after all the Hype in the UK is an Understatement !!! Far too expensive and not alot to see sadly.......the people who are 'Role Playing' are taking it too far as in THEY REALLY THINK they are living in 1620 !!! Very bizarre experience which troubled my 18 year Old Daughter as she thought they were very weird. The Red Indian Folk were friendly though......quite moving hearing their Stories. Give this attraction a wide berth people as is is OVER Rated....spend you hard earned cash elsewhere !

My husband and I took our grandkids on a vacation to Boston and its environs this June. The Plimoth plantation was one of or favorite sights. We all loved stepping back in time and witnessing the living conditons of the early settlers at Plymouth and the Native American Wampanoag village . I highly recommend this experience to anyone coming to Boston and want to see what hardships were faced by the early settlers. and the traditions and culture of the native americans living in the area.

This place should not be missed. It is an essential trip to see how the Pilgrims lived and worked once arriving on the Mayflower in the 1600s. I visited when I was 6 years old (40 years ago) and it left a lasting impression on me. I brought my family back 40 years later and it still had a lasting impression on me. The best part is the actual Pilgrim village. The homes are done exactly how the Pilgrims lived. The actors play the parts of real first residents of Plimoth, they stay in character and tell stories from the time. It's fantastic. I love the American history, seeing how people in the 1600s lived. Please go and see this. Ok, fine, maybe history isn't your thing, then at least go for the views. We also went to the Grist Mill and to be honest, it's not really worth the trip. The Grist Mill is on a beautiful pond and the park is wonderful, but the actual Mill is pretty standard and forgettable.

You are so right, the view from the top of Fort/Meeting House in the English Village is one of my favorite and I live here in America's Hometown. Never gets old overlooking the English Village with mist flowing in from the ocean, or seeing the seasonal changes, you can actually vision what life was like back then. The park you refer to is Jenney Pond, a family and local favorite, named after John Jenney, the Pilgrim who built the first mill in 1636. The Plimoth Grist Mill, a reproduction sits in the original location using the same water source to turn the wheel and gears to stone grind corn, an intriguing STEM program for all ages. Hope you bought some cornmeal to make pancakes or muffins.
