You will visit 3 renowned boutique wineries in the heart of the Valle where you will enjoy tastings of delicious reds, whites and rosé. Did we mention the food!?

The tour kicks off with delicious tacos at a mom and pop shop in Rosarito as you travel down the Baja coast in a private van loaded with cold beers and water. Experience tours of the wine making process to delicious tapas at one of the best lunch spots, Adobe Food Truck. Tour starts at approximately 8:30 am and returns to border around 7:00 pm.

A min of 6 passengers needed to run this public tour operated by Baja Society Tours. This tour is all-inclusive, however, tips are appreciated! US pickup and drop off available for an additional charge.

Some friends and I took the full day wine and restaurant tour and had an absolute blast. First of all, the logistics were arranged very well, with the tour guide Eno meeting us on the U.S. side and walking the whole group together through the border station into Mexico. This by itself just felt very organized and professional and we all felt really comfortable crossing the border with the guide. When we got across we stopped briefly to get coffee and go over some details of the tour before getting on the nice air conditioned van which was waiting for us. Its about an hour drive along the coast which was beautiful before getting to the wine country. We ended up doing tastings at 2 wineries and then visiting 2 restaurant/bar type places. I got the impression that they will cater the tour more toward the wine or toward the restaurants depending on what the group requests. I think our group wanted to check out a few more of the fun bars/restaurants so Eno knew just where to take us. The Tacos at King and Queen restaurant might have been the best I've ever had in my life, and the upstairs bar at Casa Freida played great music and had an amazing view as the sun started to set. The final stop was at a place called CuatroCuatros which was up on a cliff overlooking the ocean. Unbelievable views. After the sun went down, it was time to head back to the border. Man, what a fun day. Weather was perfect. We're already trying to figure out when we can go back.

I wouldn't have changed anything about our day. It was planned perfectly -- we started with tacos and ended with wine. Lots of wine mixed in with beautiful views. This was my first trip to wine taste in Mexico and I was shocked at how different the experience was compared to Napa. There were FAR fewer people which made all the tours intimate. On one of our tours the owner himself showed us around and let us hang out with his adorable dog. This was such a memorable day and I can't wait to go again. Thank you Baja Society Tours for showing us around and making it so easy!

We went to 3 different wineries where we got to sample a variety of wines. The wineries were very generous. Definitely would consider this more than a tasting. Lunch was great as well. An overall good day!
