Photo Safari Yosemite

Our guide will meet up with your at your place of lodging or agreed upon location. You will drive your own vehicle following caravan style the guide driving their own vehicle. We use Walki-Talkies to communicate while traveling. You will visit classic sites in Yosemite Valley and Glacier Point. Photos will be made of your party and shared to you at the conclusion of the tour.

Notre guide vous attendra à votre lieu d'hébergement ou à l'endroit convenu. Vous conduirez votre propre véhicule en suivant le style caravane du guide conduisant son propre véhicule. Nous utilisons des talkies-walkies pour communiquer lors de nos déplacements. Vous visiterez des sites classiques dans la vallée de Yosemite et Glacier Point. Des photos seront prises de votre fête et vous seront partagées à la fin de la visite.

I am NOT a photographer, and I loved our Photo Safari day with Pat Althizer. Only one member of our family is a photographer, yet Pat's tour was terrific for us all. It was a full day - from before 10:30 'til past 6. Pat was a knowledgeable naturalist and historian, great company, and a gifted teacher. Even our often-aloof teen had a wonderful time (without any camera at all). The incredible beauty of every spot Pat took us to -- each at the perfect time, with the perfect light -- irresistible, camera or no. Pat also took us to some spots twice. Different lights evoked different moods. Stunning. As for me, Pat showed me how to use my phone camera to unbelievable effect. His gifts to me will last my lifetime.

With family of my own, I enjoy being able to share Yosemite with visiting family. I always try to make it fun for everyone!

We had a great day with Pat. He knew the best spots for taking great pictures, and took us there at the best time of day. My photographic skills improved markedly as a result of his suggestions. I was in Yosemite with my wife and son who had very limited knowledge of or interest in photography, and he made it enjoyable for them as well. I definitely recommend this tour.

I especially enjoy taking families out on Photo Safari! It is very satisfying to know at the end of the day, everyone had a good time and learned something new!

We arrived in Coarsegold k.o.a. and asked about tours in Yosemite park we were told the usual tours were not running but there is a company that does photo tours,i called them and the owner pat answered the phone as i spoke with Pat i got the feeling i could trust him to do a good tour for us and I was right . Pat picked us up at the K.O.A> at 10:15 and we left from there , as we travelled to Yosemite Pat told us about the area from Coarsegold and,Oakhurst when we reached the park Pat took care of all the arrangements to enter the park, from there he took us on our way he took us to all of the usual places and a few that he knew about that you would not see on a bus tour ,Pat also spent many hours teaching us photo tips on taking great pictures and with his knowledge of photography we did learn a lot ,mid day he took us up to the Awahanee hotel for lunch and new photo opportunities as the hotel was old and beautiful ,the lunch was very nice we then carried on with the tour and photo taking , overall on the tour Pat was just the very best you could have gotten he helped us all the way, is a great host and when we come back in the summer from Canada pat will be the only one on our list to take us on tour again ,Midway during our trip we stopped and Pat got out a large thermos with spiced apple cider his good wife made the night before IT WAS GREAT . I must say overall Pat is great host with all the knowledge you will ever need regarding photography and the park. So if your looking for THE VERY BEST i would say give Pat a call it will be the best favour you could ever do for yourself and partner ,going to Yosemite THANK YOU PAT FOR THE VERY BEST
