Photo Safari Yosemite

Our guide will meet up with your at your place of lodging or agreed upon location. You will drive your own vehicle following caravan style the guide driving their own vehicle. We use Walki-Talkies to communicate while traveling. You will visit classic sites in Yosemite Valley and Glacier Point. Photos will be made of your party and shared to you at the conclusion of the tour.

Pat was wonderful. He knows Yosemite. Great driver. He taught us tons about setting up the shot. He is a wonderful teacher and not condescending. We got some lifetime photos. He also does sightseeing trips,shuttle service. He is a Jack of all trades. Hope to see him again in future. Pat was a pleasure to be around.

My family spent one fantastic day with Pat, who knows Yosemite like his backyard. The trip was very well planned and Pat was so accommodating when we requested that we start late in the day in order to catch the sunset. He was very patient with my 14 year old son and gave him instructions about composition, exposure, etc. Apart from a number of wonderful shots we had a wonderful day in Yosemite. When Pat says that he takes his clients to the right place at right time it is exactly what one will experience.

We're just back in Australia after our vacation in California, and we have fond memories of our two day tour with Pat Althizer. On this tour we experienced a variety of different sites in and around Yosemite. Travelling with Pat, we didn't need to concern ourselves with navigating the roads, and Pat knew how to work around the crowds at the Park. Pat took us to numerous photo spots that we would never have known how to find, nor would we have had time to visit them all on our own. Pat filled his tour with local knowledge and history that enriched our experiences. The two days with Pat on the photo safari were fun filled, and we found it a positive and enjoyable for all our family. Each family member brought out their camera to capture some of the spectacular scenery, and we now have developed a deeper appreciation of photography as a result. We appreciated receiving a set of photos from Pat via DropBox. I can recommend a tour with Pat if you are looking for a local guide to help you catch that perfect Yosemite photo, and also if your family needs a welcome change from the self-guided routine on your vacation. For me as the family tour guide it was a relief to be able to relax for a couple of days and let Pat do the driving and guiding. You will be guaranteed a fun and enjoyable tour with Pat.
