Let us guide you to the most spectacular overlooks at the Grand Canyon on this private day tour. You will learn about the history, flora, fauna, geology and folklore. Enjoy views of the Painted Desert and the Little Colorado River Gorge on our way to historic Cameron Trading post after leaving the park. Entry fees for the park and lunch at the historic El Tovar Hotel are included. Duration of this tour from Sedona is approximately 9 hours, from Flagstaff approximately 8 hours.

If you want to do a tour than this is your company. Chris, use to work for a tour company and took everything that was wrong and did it right. He takes a very commercialized tour and makes it personal. Very knowledgeable and takes pride in the cleanliness of his vehicles. I personally don’t like tours but did this for the family and had a wonderful time.

My husband and I were in Sedona celebrating our 20-year anniversary, and we booked a day trip to the Grand Canyon with a private 4-hour hike below the rim. It was an absolutely amazing day! This company made it easy... picked us up at our resort in Sedona, took us to the Grand Canyon and led us on our hike, took us to lunch, and then brought us back to our resort in Sedona. Our guide, Nina, was professional, knowledgeable, and just a lovely person to spend the day with. She was very careful about our safety, was prepared with all the equipment, water, snacks, etc. that we needed for the day. Nina was also an encyclopedia of facts about Sedona as well as the Grand Canyon, including the history, geology, vegetation, animals, etc. Plus Nina was so friendly and fun to spend the day with. It was a perfect day!

Nina Rehfeld was such an outstanding tour guide and excellent hiker. My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful trip to the grand canyon from Sedona. We were then shown a tremendous hike into the grand canyon to skeleton point. Nina is not only a wonderful tour guide and hike but an extremely knowledgeable person who made out trip so wonderful. Thank you Nina and thank you Grand Canyon Journeys for a great experience.
