I don't do 5 star reviews often as I find most could always improve their game. That is not true of Arizona Private Tours as they provided an exceptional experience from start to finish for our family. We're well seasoned travelers and have learned private tours in Prague, Vienna, Rome, Napoli, Sicily, and countless others have been worth their weight in gold and convenience. Our experience today with Miguel at Arizona Private Tours was nothing less than exceptional and exceeded even our expectations. Miguel is incredibly well versed in Geology, History, Culture and Food and plays one heck of an Indian lute for effect to boot. I suggest tipping very heavily and you will not be disappointed in the least.

I’m grateful that your time with us was rewarding. I am an avid traveler and I have had some incredible experiences with guides, and some that were not so great. I think it’s important to have an authentic representation of an area. Miguel is an amazing person with exceptional skill sets that we are honored to work with. If I could send my family on a vacation, this is the experience that I would hope that they would have. We are grateful for your support and the time that you took to write this review. It makes proud to do what we do. Sincerely, Cameron

Miguel picked us up at our hotel in a luxury SUV. He was a delightful spiritual guide for us through popular and off-the-beaten path sites on the Grand Canyon. He provided a ton of great information on geology and history of the area. We were open to a deeper spiritual discussion, and he guided us through a breath work meditation at one site. He even played a Native American flute for us! (and as a bonus, he taught us to take better quality panoramic pictures of the grand canyon!!!). He also had a trunk full of snacks, waters and seltzers, and was very amenable to bathroom breaks!!! Fantastic personalized experience!

Our private guide, Miguel, was awesome. So knowledgeable about the canyon and native culture. He even entertained us with two of his flutes playing local native music. Our tour was in a nice, roomy Lincoln Navigator. He took us to the right spots and picked us up after we toured at each stop, which is very important if anyone in your party has limited mobility. Best guide we’ve had anywhere ever. Our day began with intermittent rain and the canyon was socked in with clouds. We couldn’t see 10 feet into the canyon. As the day went on Miguel took us to areas where the view was better. We had a delicious lunch at El Tovar restaurant which was part of the tour. Our group of four are all in our 70s. Two of us had never been to the canyon and the others had been there as young children. I cannot imagine how difficult it would have been for us had we not gone on a private tour. I would highly recommend this tour company and especially Miguel. He turned what could have been a disappointing day into a really good one. It was a very memorable bucket list experience.
