The summit of Haleakalā is 10,023 feet above sea level. The drive up to the crater will take you through a variety of landscapes and microclimates with expansive scenes and a birdʻs eye view.

The National Park begins at the 7,000 foot elevation and encompasses the entire mountaintop. There are just a few companies that have earned permits to enter and explore the area. We are one of them!

GUS! This guy was amazingly entertaining and showed us a different side of Haleakala crater. He was funny, insightful and extremely thoughtful. Worth every penny to hang out with him for a few hours. Lots of good stories and we got to see and do everything we wanted +!

Gus was a fantastic tour guide and driver! My family of 4 had a great day exploring Haleakala as we drove to the top of the crater. We had a few side hikes to see the Sliding Sands, the silver sword flower, and a beautiful spot in the forest to birdwatching. We had a lucky day to experience being above the clouds and seeing the cloud blanket below us. We saw the Big Island, Laina, and Molokini from our viewing spots. We were fortunate ate to catch a beautiful sunset as we drove down from the crater. We enjoyed some yummy bread and mouthwatering Maui Gold (pineapple). Gus was extremely knowledgeable about the island, its history, and many locations around. Gus and his wife own the business and both were extremely friendly and accommodating. We really enjoyed the trip. Definitely recommend booking them for their tours.

We had a great time on this tour!!! We were able to book without too much notice and the whole experience was seamless! We were picked up at our hotel and the whole day was planned for us. We got to stop a few times on the way up Haleakala and Jasmine (our tour guide) was so knowledgeable, friendly and helpful! Was perfect for just me and my husband but would be great for a larger group too. Highly recommend this tour to see Haleakala and the cloud forest! We also had a little bit of wind and rain but it didn’t stop us from having a great time and even finding some altérnate activities and sights to see. We also wanted a tour that took us there but wasn’t 7-8 hours and this was perfect at right about 5 hours!!
