I have to be honest in that i went to Old Town area to just check it out the day before my tour and the entire area looked a little touristy for my liking and thinking no way could anyone make this an interesting history type tour. I was WRONG!. PJ, tour guide, did an outstanding job explaining how the buildings changed over the years. I have a much greater appreciation for that area that I never would have gotten on my own. I call this a must if you care about history.

Charlie was our guide. Wearing his leather hat and vest, he added to the telling of the tales. The tour was a glimpse into Old Town's past and the stories that helped shape it. I wanted to know more after Charlie was done. There were things in Old Town I had seen before but after going through the tour, I appreciated Old Town's character more. I highly recommend this tour.

If you only have a short time to visit Albuquerque, TAKE THIS TOUR!! My spouse booked a private tour for us as part of my 70th birthday week celebration, and it was great! Charlie started as our tour guide, but by the time the tour was finished, he felt like a friend. Charlie is very knowledgeable and we learned a lot about Old Town and Albuquerque. And we had so much fun! Do yourself a solid and take this tour!
