The BEST decision I made in Juneau. Scheduled a private Whale Watching Tour with Alaska Luxury Tours and had incredible time. Spent time watching VERY CLOSE different Humpback Whales AND a pod of Orca Whales all within the awesome comfort and luxury of a private yacht with our own Naturalist Emma and Boat Captain Brent. Having such a close experience and having the Naturalist on board, we learned about the whales we were watching which made for an even more enriched experience. We also had a short tour into the forest and up to the Glacier. We watched the other Whale Watching boats stuffed with 50 people or more, like cattle, fighting for space to view the whales. We made the RIGHT choice!! The only way to the Whales and Juneau. We also used their private airport transfers - perfect - on time - and awesome vehicles.

Great excursion. From the p/u at the dock to the drop off after the tour, a totally first class experience. Brent, our driver, was a fount of knowledge about Juneau and the whale watching in the area. Our captain, Steve, knew exactly where the whales were and our marine biologist, Janelle gave a steady commentary about the marine mammals we saw. We were lucky enough to see two different cow-calf pairs, other whales feeding, a pod of Dahl porpoise, harbor seals, a Stellar seal and a sea otter that Janelle said she hadn't seen in the Juneau area before. This is a trip you should definitely book if in Juneau.

My friends and I were lucky enough to experience a memorable evening with the crew of ALT. Glad a whale watching company has finally come around to offer the luxurious exclusivity that mirrors these beautiful creatures and truly earns a once in a lifetime experience—at least, for our group! The service is fantastic, with experts guiding you from pick-up, to drop-off. Not only are the individuals professional, but knowledgeable and passionate. My friends and I were able to toast champagne, only to be greeted by the diving and breaching of mother and calf. Truly, awesome. A unanimous favorite and recommendation from these Minnesotans! Give these guys a shot, you won’t regret it.
