I spent two very exciting and beautiful days with Makana Maui Adventures on Road two Hana (and back.. :-) ). My guide was Keone who made his best to make this two days unforgettable. Doing a trip like this slowly and personalized is a memory for life. I could bath in a waterfall, spent hours on the Red sand beach, got to know tropical plants and trees, had lunch on nice places with nice food and enjoyed lot of good conversation on the road. Keone has an excellent knowledge on the Island, on its history, plants, animals, geography etc. He did everything to make me comfortable and safe during the trip. I'm happy indeed to decide to do this trip with a private guide. We discussed it at the end, how I've found the two days and the sentence came to my mind was: like I've really been here... this experience is difficult to have in a group people with different interest and a tight schedule. My personal advice: book the tour in advance, then you have better chances to get a reasonable accommodation.
