Climbing the amazing red rocks in the Garden of the Gods! My son has climbed rocks in his Scouting program so I thought the might enjoy climbing in the Garden of the Gods on our vacation. I found Front Range and signed up. The guide called the day before the climb to touch base and answer any questions we had. When we met him in the Garden we found him to be very nice, knowledgeable, personable, fun and encouraging. He gave great climbing advice before we started along with the gear we needed. He was patient as we climbed offering advice only after he gave us the opportunity to think our way past the obstacles. Our safety was very important to him. I highly recommend this fun activity.

This was our first trip to Colorado and we wanted to end it with something new and exciting, so we tried Rock Climbing. We had very limited experience climbing (we have a bouldering gym in our hometown that we had just messed around in). We chose to do a half day excursion and we wound up meeting Isaac by the visitor/information pavilion in the Garden of the Gods. We had a fantastic time with Isaac. He made us feel safe by teaching us proper climbing techniques and explained the redundancy systems he employed. Isaac also took pictures for us as we went on 4 different routes – he made sure to ask us questions about our comfort level before we moved on to climbing. This was definitely a fun challenge that we would recommend to anyone. I will definitely be a repeat customer.

I am so happy that I booked a rock climbing session at Garden of the Gods with Front Range Climbing Company. Everything was outstanding, starting with a call to ask questions about the experience, and all throughout my private 4-hour session. Front Range Climbing gave me excellent directions to the park, instructions on how to dress, what to bring, and provided all of the necessary equipment. My guide Patrick taught me the basics of rock climbing and rappelling. He was patient, encouraging, and very knowledgeable about the history and geology of the park and surrounding area. I felt very safe during the four-hour guided experience and learned a lot about the sport of rock climbing as well as the Garden of the Gods. It made my visit so much more enjoyable than just walking around the rock formations. I definitely will use Front Range Climbing again at one of the other areas they do business in.
