Captain Jason was easy-going, very accommodating and most importantly, an excellent sailor who pays attention to safety. The boat has all the amenities you'll need, including soda/water/snacks, but you can also bring your own (a bottle of wine, for example). Comfortably seats 6 guests. We had a teen and a 5-year old with us and both were happy with the experience. A simply terrific tour with a personable and friendly captain. We are experienced sailors ourselves and were impressed with the captain's competency, attention to safety, and the comfort of the boat. All of the 5-star reviews here tell the tale! Well worth it, and we will definitely go again.

Just OK nothing special. Way too expensive for the experience Not fair to blame the fact that there was no wind and therefore no sailing but nothing offered but water and a bag of chips. Captain didn’t offer anything for the experience, very little conversation

Hi Diane, Thanks for the feedback. We're so sorry that you didn't enjoy your sail. We do our best to make sure our customers have an enjoyable and memorable experience. Although our prices are very competitive, I understand that it may be expensive for those on a tight budget. Still, we feel the prices are very fair for a private charter of a sailboat which can accommodate up to 6 guests. You're correct. As with any outdoor activity we can't control the wind, clouds, or rain. I really wish we could because when conditions are ideal it gives our guests the best experience possible. San Diego offers some of the best conditions year round giving customers excellent odds of having great weather. I'm sorry there wasn't much wind for your sail. Our provisions are limited to bottled water, sodas, and snacks but guests are welcome to bring their own food and beverage including alcohol. If you'd like to give us another opportunity to show you the experience that has been expressed in so many of our 5 star reviews we would be more than happy to offer you a significantly discounted rate on your next sail. We had such an amazing experience with Jason on the Lucky Sol! He was very responsive and helpful leading up to our sail, and was really flexible with our group. I wouldn’t hesitate to sail with him again or recommend him!!
