Man, oh man, was this one of the coolest things I’ve done on a vacation! I want to let everyone know upfront they NEED to request to have Trevis as their tour guide!!! (Hoping I spelled that right) I found out about this company and their tours through Trip Advisor, as it was highly ranked on that site. After browsing the website, I found they offered joint tours and also private ones. They had several time slots during the day, including a sunset tour! I opted to get the private, sunset tour to have a more intimate experience with less people involved, where it would just be the people in your own party. The company itself offered great customer service. I traveled from IN to AZ, so I called before placing the reservation to ask some questions first. After placing the reservations, they followed up closer to the day of the reservation to go over where to meet and to answer any questions. So nice! We arrived and every jeep was sanitized in between reservations, all guides were wearing masks, and all guests were required to wear masks. Everything felt very safe and the jeep is completely open, where you are not confined inside a jeep for anyone wanting to know more about covid precautions. Our tour guide, Trevis, was AMAZING!!! He does these tours on the side of his full time career, but you would think this was his full time job with how much knowledge he provided on this tour. You can tell he lives for this and is so into learning the history of AZ, the land, the plant life, and overall desert facts. He mentioned how much he has learned in his spare time to be able to better guide his guests and let me tell you- it shows! We learned so much! He never missed a beat and was down to have so much fun with us! He took us out pretty far out and told us so many stories of how the land became the way it looks today. From Native Americans, to other settlers, to cowboys, and more. So many facts about the cacti- explained all the different kinds, what the ancestors used the plants for, medical uses of the vegetation, and more! I learned seriously so much on this trip and it really made me understand AZ on a different level. The sunset part of the tour was just amazing. So beautiful! So many pretty colors with the sky, mountains, cacti, etc. I won’t say much more to not ruin your unique trip. Highly, highly, highly recommend this to anyone truly looking for an EXPERIENCE!
