Cynthia was my Sedona angel - assisting on selecting best tour with short time, making sure I was prepared, ready to go beyond withanswering my questions and even coming to my aid when the Arizona shuttle didnt arrive as scheduled. Blair my tour guide brought many layers of insight to the area and our times. I really enjoy being around reflective, socially conscientious people so it was a most refreshing couple of hours. Blair kindly showed me the Buddhist sanctuary area once he heard I chant Nam Myo Ho Ren Ge Kyo! So thoughtful of him. He even offered to assist with some photos. I was delighted with the quality of this service

I wish I remembered our tour guide's name. He's an older guy, you can tell he's been in the sun a lot, long white/grey hair. Cool guy, bad tour guide. I wanted to learn about and experience the vortexes around Sedona. The Earth Wisdom Jeep Tour was recommended to us by the information area not far away. We were told they had been studying the vortexes the longest and so were more knowledgeable of the phenomena. I won't speak for the company as a whole, even though I can't personally recommend them after our experience but, if what we were told was accurate, our tour guide was the worst for this tour. We visited one vortex within a high profile gated community. He stopped the jeep, let us get out, walk around and really experience the phenomena. He answered any questions, to the best of his ability, that we had about the area and the vortex. And that was the first and last place he went right. After we left that community we just drove around Sedona. He talked a lot about the high profile resorts and the rich and famous that stay in or have visited the area, but never once after that first stop did he so much as mention another vortex. Never once after that first stop did he let us out to experience another vortex. Never once after that stop were we even aware we were in the vicinity of another vortex. After that first stop I learned nothing and experienced nothing of any of the other vortexes in the area. I don't know how he called that a vortex tour, but it certainly wasn't. I wish we could get our money back since we didn't actually get the tour we paid for, but I know that isn't possible.

I booked a Vortex tour Jeep Tours for my wife and I. We thought that this would be fun even though most of it would not be off road. I knew that there are supposedly many vortex area in and around Sedona so I thought my wife would enjoy it. As It turned out, Earth Wisdom Jeep Tours was the operator although we did book the tour through Red Rock Jeep Tours. That should have keyed me to stop but since we were there we went along with the change. The actual tour took us up to the airport and as we drove past one stop that would have been neat place to go see. There were parking spots available but we just drove past and went to the top. We stopped at a turnaround and there was a little talk about geology, but not vortexes. From there we went to Red Rock State Park where you find the much photographed Red Rock Crossing. Here at least we got out to walk around. We walked down to the river and got some photos but again not much talk about vortexes mainly generalizations of the area and the geology. I have lived in Arizona for a long time and visited Sedona a lot, That being said our guide was not that knowledgeable about the area from our estimation. My best experience was watching a Black Hawk swoop down to grab lunch and then fly back up into a tree to eat. At least I got a photo of the bird dining. There was a short dirt road experience we had but this was for maybe a mile to a turn around and we headed back. So in conclusion If you want to save some money and have a better experience, buy a book about vortices, burn some gas and spending $10 to get into the park at Red Rock Crossing, then go on a mile of dirt road that you choose. Then you can do this tour in comfort and stop at a few places along the way that we didn't stop at. Earth Wisdom is a Total Rip off and after reading other 1 and 2 reviews I should have backed out but then they weren't the jeep tour that I thought I booked.

The reviewer failed to mention that he was given a full refund, as well as offered a comped tour with a different driver on a different trail.
