I am a teacher who decided to splurge and do something nice for my wife and I's anniversary, however, it was a dreadful experience. I have never actually written a negative review on the Internet but because this place was so bad I will make an exception. Larry, the driver, frequently made stops to talk about himself, his medical conditions, and his beliefs about vortexes. We were on the jeep trail for a total of 20 minutes most of which were stopped on the trail while having to listen to him talk about nonsense. He then proceeded to take us to Alma de B&B where we walked around for more time than we spent on the trail. Why would anyone pay for a jeep tour to go see a bed and breakfast? Thank goodness our 2 hour tour only really lasted an hour and a half or I might have exploded. I don't understand how this jeep tour stays in business, and how all these reviews online are mainly positive. Horrible experience, I can't believe I squandered my hard earned money to go on a worthless tour!

We have completely revised the itinerary on this tour, and retrained the guides leading it. The tour visits a special place in the western canyons called Mystic Vista, and the discussions revolve around what's unique about our high desert, and also how others view it. We no longer stop at the medicine wheel behind the Bed & Breakfast. I would recommend those planing to do this tour to reserve ahead and go either in the morning or late afternoon when the photography is best and you have the best chance of seeing animals.
