Visite privée de 3 heures de l'âme de NOLA dans toute la ville

Aperçu
Our most popular 3 hour driving tour is an overview of New Orleans, traveling in the comfort of our luxurious Honda Odyssey minivan. We'll start in the French Quarter, where the city’s colorful history began. We’ll continue to the Marigny and the Bywater, two charming downriver neighborhoods, and get a sense of their changing history through the centuries and in the 14 years since Hurricane Katrina. We’ll proceed up mansion-lined Esplanade Avenue towards Bayou St. John and to City Park, one of our nation’s oldest urban parks and home to the world’s largest stand of mature live oak trees. We will continue upriver along iconic St. Charles Avenue through the University area into the fabled Garden District. Approaching Canal Street, we’ll pass through the Warehouse Arts District, by the World War II Museum and the Central Business District. A condensed presentation, this tour is great for hot summer months, (we’re in air conditioning the whole time!) or for visitors short on time.

My family and I decided to meet in NOLA for a vacation to get out of the cold. We saw the city wide tour offered as a private tour. We explained we were staying in the garden district agreed on a day and time frame. Soul of NOLA arrange for a comfortable van to pick us up where we met Carl our guide. He was knowledgeable about all the areas around NOLA. He, is a musician also and told us from his research what he learned and explained the history of the area and how music played a role. We walked around the garden district then changed to the French quarter. He talked about the history of all the areas and would ask us questions as it was an interactive tour. Very good 3 hour tour, great arrangements made for us and learned a lot.!! My family talked about it the rest of the time spent in the area.

I enthusiastically recommend Soul of NOLA! We have traveled to New Orleans three times now, and each time we have taken a tour of the city from a different company. Cassandra’s Soul of NOLA tour was, by far, the best. New Orleans is such a unique and fascinating place that only the perspective of a knowledgeable, passionate local can open a true appreciation of it. Before we even met, Cassandra replied promptly to our questions, and shared excellent recommendations for everything from restaurants to music venues. Her suggestions turned out to be perfect for what we wanted to experience in New Orleans. The tour itself was exceptional. There is no set script as we have found with other tours; Cassandra and her guides think of the tour as “a conversation”. Cassandra adapted her tour to our interests and the questions we raised along the way, making it especially interactive and engaging. We experienced the parts of the city we wanted to understand better (in our case, we focused on the French Quarter, Tremé, Louis Armstrong Park, Musicians’ Village, Marigny, and the Lower Ninth Ward). Her knowledge of the city’s history, culture, and music scene is impressive. We especially enjoyed learning things we didn’t know about Mardi Gras from someone who is actually in krewes herself. We were also very interested in the jazz scene, so at one point, Cassandra pulled over on Frenchmen Street to chat with a club owner she knew to ask about who was playing that night to see if she should send us there. If you believe that travel is about getting a better understanding of a culture from a human perspective, a Soul of NOLA tour can give you just that. You will walk away feeling something rare for a tourist to feel—a connection to the people of the city rather than simply its sights and statistics.

Absolutely first class tour, picked up from our hotel on time by Cassandra, driven around New Orleans and given a very informative, interesting and comprehensive guide to the city and its history. A must for any visitors.
