Learn to surf on Maui. Our friendly and experienced instructors will have you up and riding waves during your 2 hour class. The private surf lesson is a great class for one-on-one attention and support from your surf coach. This class is recommended if you have surfed before or if you would like 100% attention from your surf coach. You will progress quicker with a private lesson. We have a water photographer available to capture your surf session (additional rates apply). We provide your board, lycra surf shirt, and reef shoes.

Mic was an amazing teacher and very patient with the kids. His instruction were very clear and easy to understand. He also made learning fun by having them play games on their boards in the water while they waited for a wave. There were only 2 students per teacher so it was pretty much a private lesson. I highly recommend Surf Clu Maui!

Wow we are so happy that we booked with Surf Club Maui. Somewhere my dad found that this company was rated the best on the island and I cannot say enough good things. When my 6 year old daughter walked out of the ocean she was smiling bigger than I have ever seen her smile. Her lesson was with Meka, and we watched from the grass. Meka was so validating and we could hear her cheering my daughter on. She knew my daughters name and encouraged her by name. It was amazing to watch. We have been on Maui for a month long vacation and our favorite activity was watching my daughter surf. The instructors are incredible.

Turtle was a great instructor. He taught me how to surf even when I only had just one arm. He set me up with Great Waves until I got confidence to catch them on my own. What a great place to have an awesome surfing experience. I highly recommend the school and turtle as an amazing instructor.
