This was, without a doubt, the best experience we had while on Oahu. I was so nervous before we started I honestly wasn’t sure of my own name! Chris and Paul were such fabulous instructors- we could tell how much they loved to surf and how much they wanted us to love it. We started with the basics on land, then walked to the beach and were in the water in about 30 minutes. I wasn’t sure my daughter and I would be able to do it, but they had us up on our surfboards and actually surfing in no time. Chris and Paul were so positive and encouraging - there’s no way you couldn’t accomplish something with them cheering you on. I’d like to bottle that up and take it home with me! Highly, highly recommend this.

I was late and they were flexible with me. They had a locker available to rent. Now the lesson itself, the instructor was very knowledgeable and knew how to break it down for a beginner. While waiting, there was no awkward dull, he was very friendly and talked about what I was interested in. Lastly, I had a blast learning how to surf itself. If I lived here, I would have bought a board directly after the lesson. I can see how it can be addicting.

The surfing company is within walking distance to our hotel. They have lockers for people to put personal belongings prior to the surfing lessons. Noby and Lee are experts in surfing and they did a great job teaching and made it a cool experience for us. They would customize the lessons based on our capabilities. We had so much fun learning.
