Escape from the crowded tourist areas for a private, 90-minute surf lesson for a group of 3-to-5 people near Lahaina, Maui. Choose from an early-, mid-, or late-morning time frame. This surf session will focus on water safety, proper surf technique, surfing style, and etiquette. The experienced, professional instructor guarantees students will stand up, catch a wave, and leave the beach as a certified surfer. All lessons are private so they will never combine guests from separate parties. All the necessary equipment — rash guard, state-of-the-art soft-top board, and reef shoes — included.

We had a great time learning to surf with our instructor Kyler. He was very nice and encouraging. This was our first time trying to surf and all three of us stood up on the board a couple of times. It was lots of fun!

We did a group lesson with myself and my two daughters ages 10 and 11. We had an amazing surf lesson! Our instructor, Kyler, was awesome and super patient with my girls. My 10 year old was up on her first try! We caught tons of waves and by 1.5 hours we were tired and ready to go in... I don't think I would book anything longer with young kids. The company had amazing customer service. When I booked the lesson, I put a comment on my reservation asking about if a group lesson would be ok for myself and daughters w/ 1 instructor - they wrote me back immediately letting me know that 1 instructor w/ 3 of us would be perfect. Also they called me the day prior to let me know that they might change the meeting location for the next day due to the amazing conditions in a different area. Then later on, I received a txt message giving me very clear instructions on where the new meeting spot would be for the lesson. They give you top notch booties to protect your feet and a nice thick swim shirts to wear - you give these back at the end of the lesson. Really fun morning and so glad we did it!

First day of surfing. All 4 us us got up. My kids 11 and 14 were up on 2nd wave. My 48 year old wife was able to catch a wave as well. Trying to squeeze another lesson in before we head home.
