With our private surf classes you will get the best quality surfing lesson. All our lead instructors are certified and have years of experience teaching worldwide. The lessons are held in the remote part of Venice Beach - one of the most reknown and iconic Californian beaches. Our private classes are great for students of all levels. If it's your first time surfing or you just recently started, our instructors will provide you with the detailed land lesson and make sure that you are confortable with the surfboard before taking you in the water. If you are already experienced and are looking to advance your skills, you can go straight to the line up wth the instructor coaching and supervising you throughout the entire lesson.

It was my second time in Los Angeles and I finally decided to experience surfing. I saw it in so many movies, and California always associated to me with sexy looking boys and girls on surfboards. So I found a card of Fun Surf LA in the hotel I stayed at. I called Stephen, and he told me all the details and set up the time. The basecamp was located in Venice near Washington pier. I choose a private lesson which was $100 (there were also group lessons available for $50), but I preferred to be the only student and get all the attention. The lesson last pretty long, but it was a lot of fun. First Stephen was showing me the basic things on the sand and then took me in the water. He was helping me to swim with the surfboard and then pushing me on the waves and fixing my mistakes. Closer to the end of the lesson I finally stood up and those were the best seconds of the whole trip! It's really hard to describe all the emotions I got!! That was one of the most amazing experiences I've ever had. Definitely will go to Fun Surf LA again when be back to sunny LA!!
