Let me start by saying, the lady in the office was so helpful. I called to make a reservation and she also helped me with recommendations for our trip while we were in Florida. What A GREAT time we had! There were 10 of us on a birthday vacation. We got there a little early but that was ok. They got us in and gave us our wristbands and we got drinks for the ride. We took some pre tour photos and got on our boat and they got a group photo for us. We had Captain Chuck and he was AWESOME!! We did slow down a few times and didn't see anything so he took us on a thrilling ride. It was fast and to glide over the water through the grass made it fun. On our way back, we spotted something in the water and he took us over there. I am adding this because some of the negative reviews made it sound like the gators were trained. Any and all questions, Captain Chuck was informative. He did say they will follow the boats because fisherman will feed them. No, WE spotted the gator and he had to turn back to go over there. Once we got over there we saw another one. We got TONS of videos and pictures. We NEVER felt rushed to leave. We even got the grandkids on the phones to show them the gators. On the way back we saw another gator and he turned back around to see that one and a HUGE turtle. That gator hissed and showed teeth. It was AWESOME! The hour tour was enough time to see everything we wanted to see. I recommend the private tour for a group. After the boat ride, we went and saw the exhibits. You get to touch and hold a baby gator and take photos. We went and ate gator bites and bought some souvenirs afterwards to wrap up our adventure.
