Sitting in the comfort of the ‘tricycle’ while Steph and Barry show you the sites and monuments is the best! Not only can they pedal you up close to the monuments, but they impart all the history and details - their knowledge is priceless!! Their enthusiasm and passion are contagious and it will be the best part of your tour!

A group of returned Peace Corps Volunteers got together to give our former trainer from Senegal the time of his life after decades working for the Peace Corps in West Africa. Since it was his first trip to the US after hundreds of volunteers telling him about their country, we wanted to get it right. Barry made our tour so easy, flexible, and accessible for our guest. We got to see exactly what we wanted (more monuments, less war memorials), with wonderful context for everything we saw, and accommodation when we wanted to take longer at a monument, or just go by it. He made it seem like our guest was his guest too, and we are so grateful for everything!

Yes, it was so fun showing you and your special guest around. It was lovely being a part of this amazing gift (of finally seeing the US) to your former trainer, and I was so glad I got to be a part of it.

Pedi-cabs are severely underrated. Barry gave us an extremely informative and interesting tour, and the pace of the tour really allowed us to take in the scale and impressiveness of the sights. I would absolutely do this tour again as the pace was leisurely and the activity is lots of fun. The only thing that could improve the tour is a nice glass of wine!
