À quoi s'attendre
1
Norris Geyser Basin
This stop is at the discretion of the guide and guest depending on time of day and guests hiking abilities.
2
Canyon Village Area
Lunch and shopping stop.
3
Brink of the Lower Falls Trail
Beautiful cascading falls into the canyon below.
4
Artist Point
The most beautiful stop on the tour hands down. Artist Point is an overlook point on the edge of a cliff on the south rim of the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming. The point is located east-northeast of Yellowstone Falls on the Yellowstone River. Artist Point was originally named in 1883 by Frank Jay Haynes who improperly believed that the point was the place at which painter Thomas Moran sketched his 1872 depictions of the falls. Later work determined that the sketches were made from the north rim, but the name Artist Point stuck
5
Hayden Valley
Hayden Valley is a large, sub-alpine valley in Yellowstone National Park straddling the Yellowstone River between Yellowstone Falls and Yellowstone Lake. The valley floor along the river is an ancient lake bed from a time when Yellowstone Lake was much larger. The valley is well known as one of the best locations to view wildlife in Yellowstone.
6
Yellowstone Lake
The oldest hotel in the national parks system. The grand architecture, and beautiful lakefront setting do not disappoint. A great restroom and shopping stop.
7
Kepler Cascades
a waterfall on the Firehole River in southwestern Yellowstone National Park in the United States. The cascades are located approximately 2.6 miles south of Old Faithful. The cascades drop approximately 150 feet over multiple drops. The longest drop is 50 feet.
8
Old Faithful Inn
Beautiful historic hotel.
9
Old Faithful
a cone geyser in Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming, United States. It was named in 1870 during the Washburn–Langford–Doane Expedition and was the first geyser in the park to be named. It is a highly predictable geothermal feature and has erupted every 44 minutes to two hours since 2000
10
Grand Prismatic Spring
the largest hot spring in the United States, and the third largest in the world, after Frying Pan Lake in New Zealand and Boiling Lake in Dominica. It is located in the Midway Geyser Basin. Grand Prismatic Spring was noted by geologists working in the Hayden Geological Survey of 1871, and named by them for its striking coloration. Its colors match most of those seen in the rainbow dispersion of white light by an optical prism: red, orange, yellow, green, and blue.

Belle cascade tombe dans le canyon ci-dessous.

Point d'artiste

Our guide was awesome. We are so happy we booked this trip with Globe Trekkers. Our guide was very knowledgeable. She was fun and made sure we saw all of the sights. She went out of her way to find buffalo, elk, and moose. She tried hard to find a bear for us. But oh well maybe next time. We will definitely Use this company in the future.
