This tour is customizable! During the winter months this tour will only cover the Northern Range of Yellowstone National Park. The Northern range is a wonderful place to view wildlife such as Wolves, Bison, Foxes, Coyotes, Deer, Elk, Otters, Eagles, and much more! During the summer the Northern Range is a wonderful place to see all the animals listed above with the addition of Grizzly and Black Bears!

Great tour of Yellowstone for our group of 11. Our tour guide (Nolan) grew up in Gardiner and he shared all kinds of information and sites in Yellowstone that we would have never learned of on our own. The tour was at our pace and included all the highlights (Old Faithful, Mammoth Hot Springs, Canyon, Hot pools). We saw Bison, Elk, Ravens, swans. Great breakfast and lunch at scenic lookouts. Recommend this tour just for all the wonderful tips we learned.

We had planned our holiday in Yellowstone around the wildlife tour with Nolan, and it did not disappoint. A great day in the park with Nolan - his local knowledge is exceptional and his guiding was great. Also appreciated Caitlyn's great catering. It was great to hear Nolan's passion for recovering the area after the floods and we are grateful that the Northern Gate was accessible for the guides. I'd love to come back and do some more one day.

Yellowstone Journeys was great in every aspect, and I will definitely be back for another tour with them! Nolan was very knowledgeable on the history, geography, and wildlife of Yellowstone. We seen a variety of wildlife including wolves, bears, pikas, elk, and bison. Nolan was easy to ask questions and have a conversation with. Also had a good lunch with a variety of beverages and snacks to choose from. And most of all, he paid attention to what interest me and stayed aware of what was going on around us to try to get us in the best location for the situation. If you are up in the air and wondering if you really need a guide, let me just say I have been to Yellowstone before without a guide and must say I missed out on SO much! Yellowstone Journeys knows where all the hidden treasures are, and not only that, they know exactly what time to be in certain spots to obtain the very best views. They are also local and get all the day to day inside information going on within the park which opens up the door to seeing more. And a huge added bonus, it was extremely nice to have someone driving that knew where they were going so I could relax and focus on the scenery and wildlife. I can’t wait to go back to Yellowstone and book our next guided tour with Yellowstone Journeys!
