Great way to start our Montana/Wyoming/Idaho vacation! Having never been to this part of the country nor Yellowstone National Park, our group decided the best way to start our vacation was with a tour. However, our group (4 of us) did not want to be crammed on a tour bus or van for the day with other people. Once I found Yellowstone Dreamin Adventures on TripAdvisor, it was a no brainer to book with them because they offered a "private" tour for just our group and the prices were better than other tour companies I was looking at. Their prices are very reasonable in my opinion. J.R. was our tour guide and meet us promptly at 7:00 a.m., complete with coffee, muffins, bear spray and binoculars for all 4 of us. He was super friendly and a pleasure to spend our day with. He was knowledgeable of the area and the history of Yellowstone National Park. He took us throughout the upper and lower loops of the park, stopped to look for wildlife whenever we asked him too, even did a few u-turns for us when we swear we saw bears in the woods. He stopped at several springs for us, Roaring Mountain, the Fountain Paint Pots, Firehole Falls, Old Faithful (and even waited so that we could see Old Faithful erupt), Yellowstone Lake, Grand Prismatic Spring, Midway Geyer Basin, the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, and several other points of interest in the park (but I can't remember the names). We saw a moose, hundreds of bison, lots of baby bison, elk, a baby elk, pronghorn, lots of birds, bald eagles, and a grizzly bear to top off our day! JR is an avid photographer and took a lot of fantastic pictures that our cell phone cameras could not hever gotten. He even shared all his photos with us after we finished the tour! Lunch was hand-made, fantastic and so much food. We had our choice of several different sandwiches, so no surprise lunch and not getting something you didn't like. Thank you Debbie!! It was really a fantastic day, a great way to start our 10 day vacation and get the lay of the land so we could venture out on our own the rest of the week. When our group saw busloads of people and other vans passing by, we were so happy we had a private tour! Book with Yellowstone Dreamin Adventures - you will not be disappointed!

What a day we had with JR! We were picked up at our location in the morning (coffee and muffins waiting) and began our journey! JR was great - an avid photographer who knew all the places to take us and pointed out the areas that had wildlife activity in them from his previous trips. At last count we were up to 13 bear sightings - a few of them were right on the side of the road so we have great pictures, saw coyotes, wolf den activity, eagles, osprey, falcons, of course bison and elk! Lunch was very good - we pulled off and ate at a picnic area and the sandwiches were prepared ahead of time, and we were able to choose what we wanted so no surprises! JR was always there to lend a hand when exiting the van which was extremely helpful. Honestly, it was the best day and when we saw busloads of people and other vans passing by with multiple people in them, we were so happy we had a private tour! Thank you, JR, for making this a truly wonderful experience!

This company hasn't been around very long but it is made up of veterans in the field and it shows. We had the best time with our guide Ron who was easy, wonderful and who is also 5th generation Gardner resident who knew everything about the area. Booking is easy and friendly, and our experience was nothing short of life changing. We saw wolves, Elk, Goats, badgers, bears, buffalo, antelope and all kinds of birds. Can't wait to return.
