This tour was AMAZING! Jered was the best guide and showed us so many amazing things. We saw wolves, a grizzly bear, mountain goat, elk, owls, etc! The views were amazing and it was so nice to be picked up and have a provided lunch. Would highly recommend this tour and guide anyone else!!

Absolutely a must do tour! Our guides Jared and Scott were so knowledgeable about Yellowstone history and where to find bears, wolves, big horn sheep…etc…pretty much saw everything. Wouldn’t have known where or what to look for otherwise. A must do to truly appreciate this amazing natural resource.

Trying to give a fair and balanced review. The reason we booked this tour was to see wolves, bears, and moose. We saw none of those. We are from central Pa. We can see black bear, elk, coyote, and eagles here or close by. We wanted to see what we can’t see around home. In addition we had already seen vast herds of buffalo and prong horn on our own. We knew there was no guarantee to see a bear, a moose or a wolf. But, we were pretty hopeful to see at least one of the three. I think it would be better if when Viator took a reservation they asked what the customer wanted to see. Our guide told us during our tour that the chances of seeing a bear are much better in the spring and that there aren’t many moose in the park since the return of the wolves. Wish I had known that before I booked the tour. Our guide was very nice. He really, really tried to spot wildlife for us. We definitely did see animals that we wouldn’t have seen otherwise—he spotted an eagle and a coyote. He really tried to find us a mountain goat. He tried to find a bear as well. He took us where they had been seen recently. We would not have gone to the Lamar valley if we had not been with a guide. It was spectacular, and there were just so, so many buffalo. We also saw herds of antelope. I don’t regret the tour. We enjoyed it. BUT had I known the unlikelihood of seeing either wolves, bear, or moose on this tour at this time, I wouldn’t have booked in the first place.
