I rode Millie. She was an awesome, gentle mule. I talked to her most of the ride and she was surprisingly attentive...by about a third of the way through, if I wanted her to start or stop, I'd just have to gently tell her, without any movement from me or the reins.
Dinner was great as well, though the paper plate we used started to fail pretty quickly...maybe a stronger one? We had the steak...oh my gawd this thing was HUGE! Took up half the plate! Tasty indeed, but the seasoning was a bit on the spicy side for my pallet (something I'm sure they would have fixed had I known ahead of time to ask).
All in all this was an awesome experience. This is our second ride with this group and we left happy and very satisfied both times. Staff are friendly and ensure a safe, enjoyable experience. The riding stock are all pretty gentle, though some may be slightly more "spirited" than others...if it's your first ride or you're a seasoned vet; they'll do a pretty good job with matching you up with a compatible animal (horse or mule). These animals are almost on auto pilot as they've done the route hundreds of times...
Thank you for another pleasurable trip. Will likely see you (for our third visit) next November!
