We rented an 8 passenger cart for a family reunion in Galveston. We had a stressful start to our vacation because we came to town the day after Nicholas passed through and our original home was damaged. Veronica was so helpful, kind and worked with our altered schedule. The cart was a blast! We named it Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. We did several home tours in the cart, used it to go to the Seawall and every time we ate a meal out. You can see so much more in a golf cart than in a car. And the weather was amazing. My family loved it. They even provided a step stool for our passengers that needed help with the step up. The old timey horn was fun and we honked at everyone! We can't wait to do it again the next time we go to Galveston.

If you are looking for a fun and unique way to travel around Galveston Island, look no further! From the outstanding customer service to the uniquely detailed Model-T Ford Golf Carts, no detail has been left out! These carts have a fun horn, round headlights, and a carriage top… the best part? They run quiet! It’s not a loud engine sound. Our process was very easy and the owners were incredibly kind. They walked us through all the details, met us at the shop and described the ins and outs and they went over the rules of the road (it was outlined in their paperwork but we all know that we tend to skim!). They even decorated it for us to celebrate our event! I highly recommend doing business with Carriage Haus Rentals - for the entire experience!

2 hour rental with family. Had a lot of fun. The streets along the Strand are a bit bumpy and not in the best shape so it was a bit of a rough ride at some points but we had a really good time. Bonus, you get free parking with the rental!
